Tomes 39-43 published posthumously from Niceron's notes and contributions from other contributors (P.F. Oudin, J.B. Michault, and Abbé C.P. Goujet) are mentioned in the Avis on the verso of the title page of tome 43 and also noted by Barbier and in the catalogue of the Bibliothèque Nationale. This Avis also mentions that the publisher has material for future volumes but no more seem to have been published
