THIRD DIVISION.-VERBS ABSOLUTELY IRREGULAR.

The verbs which are absolutely irregular may be reduced to twenty-four in the three conjugations, of which three belong to the first; viz. :—

Observe, that I do not place in this list the verbs which scrupulously follow in their irregularities any one of the above; but I have put after each a list of those which are conjugated in the same way.

I will now conjugate each of these irregulars in turn, omitting only those tenses which are regular, and the compound tenses, formed, as I have more than once explained, by the union of the past participle with the verb to have.
