TEACHERS OF SUNDAY SCHOOLS.

My Friends,

I here present you with a volume of addressess, which I hope will be found useful to you in the valuable institutions to which you devote your time and labor on the Lord's-day. In some Sunday schools in the metropolis in which I have been led to take a particular interest, it is the custom to bring the children into chapel only in the morning, and the afternoon to conclude their attendance in the school by a short service adapted expressly to their capacity. This service consists of a very familiar Address delivered by one the of Teachers, a hymn sung by all present, and of a short prayer offered up by the person who has given the Address. It was on these occasions that the substance of the following Addresses was delivered: * I say the substance, since it has been my almost invariable practice
