Consecrated Bishop of Bath and Wells Deprived Feb., Jan. 25, 1684. 1690-1. Died March 21, 1710-11, æt. 73. WILLIAM BEACHAM, Fellow of New College, Oxford. Died before 1713. *He was probably the person who is thus mentioned in Smith's Catalogue of Persons deceased (Addit. MS. 886, in Brit. Mus.): "April 30, 1642, the wife of ROWLAND HUGHES, Attorney, died." * He obtained a grant of the following Arms from Cooke, Clarenceux King-of-Arms, viz., Chevronny of six, gules and argent.
