WHY THIS BOOK Young men and women go off to college with the blessings and support of family, friends and church members. However, in staggering numbers after spending four years at their colleges, their commitment to the Lord has often declined. Many that do return home no longer attend their home church or any church at all. I hope that this book will help young people navigate some of the most enjoyable, but also some of the most dangerous years of their lives. WHO IS THIS BOOK FOR Students that want to be equipped to deal with college life Young men and women that desire to maintain their Christian faith or to attain greater spiritual maturity Parents of college students that are concerned about their children remaining faithful to Christ Adults who want to see young men and women be more like Christ BIOGRAPHY OF WAYNE J. VAUGHAN Wayne J. Vaughan is a lifelong resident of Brooklyn, NY. He is a member of The Concord Baptist Church of Christ in Brooklyn, NY. Wayne is the Chief Financial Officer of the church. Wayne has been teaching at the Concord Sunday Church School for more than 20 years. He believes in trying to encourage young people to be as successful as they can be and recognizes that developing a relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ is the key first step on the road to success. The New York City Mission Society has honored him for his commitment to the AMACHI mentoring program. He holds a BBA from Baruch College and a MBA from Columbia University Graduate School of Business. He prays that the goal of every person will be to be more like Christ and to put a smile on God's face when He thinks of you.
