The Poor fhall eat and be fatisfied, &c. i. e. Such as are truly humble and poor in Spirit fhall have the Spiritual Biefings of the Gospel bestowed upon them; and their Soul shall be filled with all joy in believing.

And they who are thus excited to ferve God in fircetity, fhall have endless cause to praise him; because he will bestow upon them eternal Life through lefus Christ.

The Jecret of the Lord is with them that fear, &c. This paffage of Scripture feems to be in fome degree parallel to that expreffon of our Saviours. If any Man will do his Will, he ball know of the Doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself John vii. 17. and fignifies that whofoever is fincerely difpoed to ferve and please God fhall be preferved from all
